Young Writers Dates & Fees Celebrating the 34th year of authors connecting with students Brochure and Registration will be available at the end of October. Who can register: For all students in grades 3-8. School teachers register groups of students and their chaperones. Parents register their students and themselves. Young Writers Dates: January 6, 2026 (snow date Jan. 7) You do not need to be an SWWC member to participate. Visit the Marshall, Balaton, or Cottonwood Library every third Saturday and build with LEGO® bricks! Holidays and other events may change this schedule. Events at the Balaton and Cottonwood Libraries end by noon. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 6-11) are invited to participate. Each month has a different theme. Take the theme challenge, and we’ll show off your creations at the library!
