MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Marshall School District took a big step towards construction beginning on the district’s bond referendum project.
Last night, the school board voted to authorize the district to advertise for bids on an addition to Park Side Elementary and other renovations, including security upgrades at the building.
Three classrooms will be added at Park Side as well as classroom space for early childhood education. The extra space will allow the district the ability to move its early childhood classes from its current location at the Marshall Middle School to Park Side.
It is part of the $29.8 million bond project approved last May by school district voters.
Bids will be opened December 5th, construction at Park Side is planned to start next year.
