HANLEY FALLS – The 9th annual Hanley Falls Walk Against Cancer is scheduled for May 4th at the Hanley Falls American Legion. Participants are encouraged to honor and celebrate loved ones by adding photos to dedicated walls.
The event will feature a raffle with tickets available for $1 each, offering a chance to win various prizes, including a grand prize of a 1-night stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Bloomington, MN. Registration opens at 2:00 pm, followed by the walk at 2:30 pm, and the raffle at 3:30 pm.
Donations of non-perishable food items, cash, or checks (made payable to CentraCare Willmar or the American Cancer Society) are welcome. T-shirts can be purchased for $25 on the day of the walk. Proceeds from the walk will benefit CentraCare Hospice – Willmar, the American Cancer Society, and the Yellow Medicine County Food Shelf.
