MARSHALL — The Action Trackchair, an all-terrain wheelchair invented and manufactured in Marshall, has advanced to the top eight in the “Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota” contest. Organized by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, the competition highlights the state’s manufacturing industry.
The Action Trackchair was selected to compete in the contest, consisting of 64 products, including Fruity Pebbles cereal and medical devices, to reach the current stage. It now faces off against sugar from the American Crystal Sugar Company in Moorhead.
The final winner will be announced on Oct. 8 at the 2024 Manufacturer’s Summit. Voting is open to the public through the Chamber’s website.
