MARSHALL — The Marshall Area YMCA will soon begin the search for a new executive director as Tom Bolin steps down from the role to pursue a new position at Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in Watertown, S.D. Bolin, who has served as CEO of the Marshall YMCA since 2012, will conclude his tenure on Oct. 11.
During his time at the YMCA, Bolin played a key role in significant projects, including the organization’s 20th anniversary celebrations, expanding the local farmers market, and securing funds to restore the indoor pool.
The YMCA board will begin the search for a new CEO immediately, with associate executive director Jessica Dahms stepping in as interim CEO. A community celebration for Bolin is scheduled for Oct. 15 in the YMCA lobby.
