Shelburne Township, MN – July 7, 2024 – No injuries were reported after a vehicle lost its wheel and struck another vehicle on US Hwy 14 on Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 12:51 PM, a GMC Yukon lost a wheel while traveling eastbound on US Hwy 14. The wheel struck a westbound Ford F150. No injuries were reported among the seven people involved. The Ford was occupied by 33-year-old Katherine Anna May and Noah Emily May from Sioux Falls, SD. The GMC had four passengers and was operated by 49-year-old Brent James McMahon of Minneota.
Assistance was provided by the Balaton Fire Department, Balaton Ambulance, and Tyler Ambulance.
