CANBY – A Gary, SD man was injured when his vehicle collided with a semi-truck in Yellow Medicine County Sunday afternoon, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 2:46 Sunday afternoon, a 2017 International Semi and a 1995 Ford Semi were both traveling northbound on Highway 75, near Canby in Hammer Township of Yellow Medicine County, when they collided. 

The driver of the Ford, 67-year-old Steve Michael Schanning of Gary, SD, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Canby hospital.

The driver of the International, 79-year-old Lavern Arthur Underhill of Madison, was not injured.
