The next monthly veterans coffee at the Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall is Tuesday, May 7 at 1:30 pm. The monthly coffee is open to all veterans. The Tracy Public Library has the Three Days in Dakota, The James Brother's Escape from Northfield presentation by Russ Swanson Monday, May 2oth. The Marshall American Legion Auxiliary will be having a Pillowing Cleaning on May 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Wooden Nickel in Marshall. The proceeds benefit our Veteran’s programs. Used pillows will be cleaned, sanitized, and deodorized. The process takes only a few minutes. New pillows and comforters are also available. The Lakeview Family, Career Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) invite you to attend their Dementia Awareness Walk Friday, May 31st from 5 - 8 pm at the Lakeview Football Field. Held in connection with the Marshall Area Dementia Awareness Network, the walk will be a fun and informational event for all ages. There will be activities for kids.
