Support the United Way of Southwestern Minnesota and pick whether Troy Deutz or Aaron Ziemer will walk through Marshall in a Gruffalo costume for the 2024 Gruffalo Walk. Donate towards Troy or Aaron and the one with the most donations at the end gets to watch the other don the Gruffalo. Donations from the 2024 walk go towards supporting the UWSWMN's Stuff the Bus program, providing school supplies to local K-12 students. The next monthly veterans coffee at the Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall is Tuesday, May 7 at 1:30 pm.  The monthly coffee is open to all veterans.  Enjoy coffee, water, juice, and treats while visiting with fellow veterans in the ice cream shop at the museum.  This month, we will have a special guest.  Deb Ahmann will present: “A Gold Star Family” at 2:00 PM.
