Support the United Way of Southwestern Minnesota and pick whether Troy Deutz or Aaron Ziemer will walk through Marshall in a Gruffalo costume for the 2024 Gruffalo Walk. Donate towards Troy or Aaron and the one with the most donations at the end gets to watch the other don the Gruffalo. The University of Minnesota extension master gardener program has some gardening classes open to the public all at the Lyon County Library. May 18th @ 10:00 a.m. - The Trees that Help Us Breath: for kids in K-5 with Master Gardener Sue Morton   These events are presented through the Minnesota Extension Service Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Founded in 1977, the program now includes over 2,300 active master gardeners in almost every county of the state of Minnesota.
