Three Days in Dakota -Presented by Russ Swanson

| FreeThe Tracy Public Library has the Three Days in Dakota, The James Brother’s Escape from Northfield presentation by Russ Swanson Monday, May 2oth. Presentation is at the Public Library, 366 Morgan St. in Tracy 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
A presentation of what was once the largest manhunt in U.S. history. After the Northfield bank robbery. The James/Younger Gang fled across southern Minnesota and into Dakota Territory before making their way back to Missouri. Detailed maps resulting from years of research will document the gang’s various stops along the way.
This project was funded in part or in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008 which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota’s arts and cultural heritage.
