ST. PAUL (KMHL) – The state of Minnesota is nearing 1,000 cases confirmed cases of coronavirus.

According to the official numbers from the Department of Health, there are now 986 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state – and 30 fatalities.

It is continuing to spread across the state as well.

Lyon County is now up to 4 confirmed cases, while Lincoln and Renville County each have two confirmed cases – and Redwood, Murray, Pipestone, Lac Qui Parle and Yellow Medicine County each still have one confirmed case.

In southwest Minnesota, only Chippewa, Rock and Nobles County have no confirmed cases of COVID-19.
