No-Wake Advisory Issued for Murray & Lyon County Lakes

Due to recent rains and elevated water levels, a no-wake advisory has been issued for Lake Shetek, Lake Shetek inlet waters, and Bloody Lake in Murray County. The no-wake advisory is also in effect for Lake Yankton and East Twin Lake in Lyon County. This advisory requires watercraft to operate at speeds that do not produce a wake. Watercraft operators are urged to exercise caution and maintain slower speeds during these high-water conditions to protect against shore erosion and damage from floating debris. The advisory will be continuously evaluated and adjusted based on changing water levels.

St. Anne’s Catholic School Nears $12.2 Million Goal for New Building Project
