(Welch, MN) — Emily Schumacher of Mankato was crowned Miss Minnesota on Friday and will represent the state in the Miss America pageant. Schumacher, an aspiring doctor and Northern State University graduate, works as a nursing assistant at Mayo Clinic Health Systems. She will focus on promoting heart health during her reign.
