This is really adding INSULT to INJURY. A cleaning company in California called Pink Sponge Cleaning owns a fleet of 25 bright pink-colored Volkswagen Bugs . . . and early Saturday morning there was a break-in at the lot and they were vandalized. The owner reviewed security camera footage and saw at least three teens wreaking havoc . . . blasting a fire extinguisher, etching into the cars' paint, and "breaking every headlight they could."  But it wasn't just that. The footage showed two female teens TWERKING on the hoods of the Bugs . . . for whatever reason . . [...]

Chocolate Is Being Wiped Out By a Covid-Like Pandemic?

2024-04-25T15:02:29-05:00April 25th, 2024|Categories: KARZ, KKCK, KMHL|

Viruses don't just target humans . . . because apparently, CHOCOLATE is facing its own COVID-19-like pandemic right now. A viral disease is ravaging the cacao trees in West Africa, where more than half the world's chocolate originates.  This is in Ghana and the Ivory Coast. It's called the "cacao swollen shoot virus disease" . . . or CSSVD . . . and it spreads thanks to the mealybugs that feed on the trees. Once infected, the plant exhibits symptoms like . . . swelling of the stems and roots, red veins on immature leaves, and the cacao pod shrinking.  (It's unclear [...]

Airlines Will Be Required to Refund Passengers for Canceled and Delayed Flights

Have you paid more to take a certain flight at a specific time . . . only to have a delay or cancellation completely derail your schedule?  Most of us have . . . and usually, there's little to no compensation from the airlines. Well, that's changing. Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg had a news conference yesterday, where he announced that within six months, airlines will be required to comply with new rules, which will REQUIRE cash refunds for cancellations and long delays as an "expansion of passenger rights." But you won't get $300 for a one-hour delay.  Here's how it'll work: [...]

Owen Wilson Turned Down $12 Million to Star in a Movie That Portrayed O.J. Simpson as Innocent

2024-04-25T15:00:42-05:00April 25th, 2024|Categories: KARZ, KMHL|

Owen Wilson chose morality over money when the director of an O.J. Simpson movie dangled a pretty massive check in front of his face. Joshua Newton says he offered Owen $12 MILLION to play Douglas McCann, a real-life attorney who got wrapped up in various conspiracy theories during O.J.'s 1995 murder trial. Newton says Owen backed out after he read the whole script and realized that it suggested O.J. was INNOCENT. Owen supposedly told him, quote, "If you think I'm going to take the lead role in a movie about how O.J. didn't do it, you've got to be kidding me!" The movie's actually been [...]

2024-04-25T14:58:29-05:00April 25th, 2024|Categories: KARL, KARZ|

Big news for fans of the Man in Black:  Johnny Cash has a NEW ALBUM coming this summer, more than 20 years after his death.  It's called "Songwriter", and it will be out June 28th. It's a collection of 11 original songs he wrote and recorded demos for in 1993.  He passed away a decade later in 2003. Only two of them have ever been released in any form:  "Drive On" and "Like a Soldier" were both on his "American Recordings" album in 1994. The other nine songs are brand new . . . or, "brand new" to US anyway.  He wrote them over 30 years ago. His son John Carter [...]

Road Rager Threw Spaghetti at a Pregnant Woman?

2024-04-25T14:57:36-05:00April 25th, 2024|Categories: KARL, KARZ, KKCK, KMHL|

No one deserves this . . . even if you might have pregnancy cravings for spaghetti. A woman in Indianapolis called 911 around 5:00 P.M. last week to report that she'd been the victim of road rage.  She was concerned because she had three kids in her car, and she also happened to be pregnant. She told police she was turning right, when another driver turned left in front of her.  She admitted to shouting at the other driver, but then the other driver brake-checked her . . . FLASHED A GUN . . . and tailed her. She said the [...]

I guess guard dogs are obsolete now, because this is even more intimidating . . . Robot dogs with FLAMETHROWERS attached to their head are now something you can buy.  (???) A company called Throwflame is selling one called the "Thermonator" for $9,400.  You operate it over WiFi or Bluetooth with a remote control, and it can shoot flames up to 30 feet.  (Here's a video.) The website says they're legal in all 50 states.  You just need a special permit in California and Maryland. They're not pushing the guard dog angle, but they do list eight different things it's perfect for. They include [...]
