Kenneth Lipinski, age 74, of Ivanhoe, MN passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ivanhoe, MN. Burial will be in the St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery, Wilno. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. with a 7 pm prayer service and Rosary to follow on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ivanhoe, MN.  Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, MN is entrusted with the arrangements.

Kenneth Clarence Lipinski was born January 19, 1947, to Clarence and Margaret (Panka) Lipinski in Hendricks, MN. He graduated from Ivanhoe High School in 1964. He married Karen Eastman in December of 1966 and to this union they were blessed with four children.  He was drafted into the United States Army where he served from July of 1966 to July of 1968. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home where he worked for his dad at Lipinski Garage. In 1981, he opened his own business, Ken’s Autobody and Exhaust in Ivanhoe.  Ken enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He served on the Ivanhoe Fire Department for 20+ years. He also enjoyed collecting old classic cars and most of all his prized ’57 Chevy.

Ken is survived by his wife Karen Lipinski; four children: Greta (Allen) Schugel, New Ulm, MN, Shad (Reba) Lipinski, Ivanhoe, MN, Chris (Shelley) Lipinski, Marshall, MN and Justin Lipinski, Brookings, SD; sister, Karen (Royal) Hettling, Minneota, MN; 7 grandchildren: Hunter, Matt, Tyler, Emma, Drew, Abby, and Joey; step grandchildren: Desiree and Jasmine; and four step great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret, in-laws, Louis and Emma Eastman, brothers-in-law, Dean and Ted Eastman, and sister-in-law, Rose Ann Eastman.
