MINNEAPOLIS (KMHL) – A Pipestone woman was killed in a single vehicle accident that occurred in the metro area over the weekend.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 22-year-old Jan’Qwes Lan’Tya Ronaye’ Tivis was driving a 1990 Nissan Sentra along Highway 55 in Hennepin County, at a high rate of speed when the vehicle ran off the road to the right and rolled down an embankment.
Authorities say Tivis was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. The patrol says the crash was reported around 6:30 Sunday evening.
