Governor Tim Walz and four other governors in the Midwest are teaming up to build a new electric vehicle charging network in the Midwest.  According to a news release, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin are creating REV Midwest which aims to “collectively accelerate vehicle electrification” in the region.  The governors believe REV Midwest will help reduce toxic emissions and ultimately benefit public health due to cleaner air.  Officials hope to launch the EV (Electric Vehicle) charging infrastructure by 2030.
