MARSHALL (KMHL) – You may have noticed the posts over the weekend and wondered what it is all about. But the Minnesota Wild have chosen Marshall as one of the sites that could receive a new outdoor ice rink through a grant from the Wild and U.S. Bank.

The Wild and U.S. Bank are teaming up with EZ Ice to build and donate two rinks to 8 finalist communities.

New Prague, Park Rapids, Hallock, Hermantown, Golden Valley, Duluth and East Grand Forks are the other finalists.

People can vote once per day. If you’d like to vote, click here.

Currently East Grand Forks leads the vote and Duluth is second.
