MARSHALL, Minn. — The Marshall Area Stage Company’s production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s State Fair continues this week at the newly renovated Marshall Middle School Theater.

Remaining performances are scheduled for Thursday, June 25, and Friday, June 26, at 7 p.m., along with matinee performances on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, at 2 p.m.

Based on the screenplay by Oscar Hammerstein II and the novel by Phil Stong, State Fair features music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. The musical follows an Iowa farm family as they attend the state fair, encountering romance, competition and memorable adventures along the way.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students ages 18 and under. Tickets are available online at the Marshall Area Stage Company website or at the door.

Audience members are asked to use the Progress Drive East parking lot and follow posted signs to the theater.
