LEARFIELD (Minneapolis, MN) — A Maplewood man will spend two and a half years in federal prison after pleading guilty to illegally possessing pipe bombs. Police searched the home of 27-year-old Dylan Orr last April and discovered two six-inch pipes – one with BBs attached, four endcaps, explosive powder and components which could be converted to an explosive device. Investigators received a tip that Orr sent photos of the pipe bombs from his cellphone. He did not have a registration to possess these devices.
