Jelly Roll took time out of his schedule to visit a fan. But not just any fan. This one is a terminally-ill grandmother from Columbia, Tennessee.
Her name is Sharon Brown. She has early-onset dementia and renal failure, but she has decided not to do dialysis. But she’s a huge Jelly Roll fan, which shocks a lot of people because of, quote, “my age and my white hair.”
Sharon’s daughter Melissa went to one of his shows and told a crew member that meeting him was her mom’s dying wish. So they made it happen at another show.
Sharon says, quote, “He gave me so many hugs. He made me feel like I was so special. He told me I only looked 50!”
