VESTA – An Ivanhoe woman was hospitalized on Wednesday after her vehicle collided with a deer on Highway 19 near Vesta, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 4:06 Wednesday afternoon, a 2023 Ford F150 was traveling westbound on Highway 19 when the vehicle struck a deer.
The driver of the Ford, 61-year-old Sara Marczak of Ivanhoe, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Marshall hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Vesta Fire Department, and North Ambulance.
