University of Minnesota’s North Central Research & Outreach Center (NCROC) Celebrates 130 Years with Annual Visitors Day Event. GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. — The University of Minnesota’s North Central Research and Outreach Center (NCROC) will host its annual Visitors Day on Saturday, June 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This year’s free, family-friendly event is extra special, as it marks the center's 130th anniversary.
