Playing Haydn For the Angel Of Death Screening

Cottonwood and Wood Lake Rummage Sales
The Cottonwood Area Community Rummage sales will be going on from May 11th-May 13th. Maps will be available the day before the sale at the local gas stations or you can go to this website/link www.lakeview2167.com/communityeducation.

Lyon County Museum Open House

Knights of Columbus Steak, Burger, and Fry feed
Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 503 W Lyon St., Marshall, MN, United StatesThe knights of Columbus#1621 will be hosting a steak, burger and fry feed on May 19th, from 4pm-730pm at the Holy Redeemer Church Fairstand. The menu and pricings include: 8oz ribeye steak, baked potato, and coleslaw for 20$ Cheese burger meal with fries, and coleslaw 15$ Hamburger meal with fries and coleslaw 13$ Pop, water and beer will also be available.
Gavin Fire Department Fundraiser
Garvin Fire Hall 125 Sherman St, Garvin, MN, United StatesOn Saturday, May 20th the Gavin Fire Department will be hosting a fundraiser located at the Gavin Fire Hall. There will be a car-bike-tractor and Vendor show. Also lunch will be served and on the menu there will be: burgers, hotdogs, and pulled pork. St. Johns Trigger Tournament
Springfield Golf Club 651 South O Connell Ave., Springfield, MN, United StatesSt. Johns Circle of Care Foundation is hosting our 3rd Annual Trigger Tournament at the Springfield Sportsmans Club Sunday May 21st from 8am to 4pm. Join us for a great Pulled Pork lunch, raffle and a fun day at the Sportsmans Club. Lunch is $10 per person and will be served from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Raffle tickets are still available and can be purchased at St. Johns, F&M Bank, Southpoint Financial and the Sportsman's Club.
Lake Benton Legion Memorial Day Program
Lake Benton Opera House 118 E Benton St, Lake Benton, MN, United StatesLake Benton Legion will be holding their Memorial Day program at 9:30 a.m. in the Lake Benton Opera House. This particular Memorial Day is quite special in Lake Benton this year as the remains of Glenn Cyriacks will be returned to the Krause Family. Cyriacks was stationed on the USS Oklahoma when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. His remains are only the second in the state to be returned. Address by Retired Lt. Colonel Joe Errington and music by Ellen Lenz. Gun salute to follow at Veteran’s Park.
Lucan Memorial Day Observance
Lucan Community Center MN, United StatesThe Lucan Memorial Day Observance will be Monday (Memorial Day), May 29, 2023 at the Veterans Memorial at the City Park (South of the Community Center) starting at 6:30 p.m. with Patriotic Music and the Program will begin at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Josh Goche, CSM. Everyone is welcome to come and honor those who have served. The program will be followed by Roll Call of Deceased Veterans, gun salute, taps and refreshments. All activities will be conducted outside. If desired, bring a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather, the program will be help inside the Community Center.
