Bring your friends, your family, or that special someone and enjoy an evening of winter fun—on the house! Skates are available while supplies last, so if you have your own, please bring them along. The Garvin First Responders invite you to their annual Soup & Desert Fundraiser on Sunday, February 8th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lake Sarah Lutheran Church in Garvin. They will serve Chicken Wild Rice soup and Potato & Ham soup, along with bread, a desert and beverages. A free will donation will be accepted. Proceeds from the event will go towards annual operation expenses. |

FERRIS GRAND FUNDRASING EVENT The Pipestone County Historical Society is once again hosting a Fundraising event in the beautiful, historic Pipestone Masonic Lodge room. This event will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the second floor of the Ferris Grand Block located at 106 East Main Street. This is a ticketed event. The event will feature a four-course steak dinner provided by the Pipestone County Cattlemen and Staci’s Bar & Grill. Entertainment and games will be offered throughout the evening. This fundraiser supports the on-going historic preservation of the Ferris Grand Block which houses the historic Masonic Lodge room [...] Visit the Marshall, Balaton, or Cottonwood Library every third Saturday and build with LEGO® bricks! Holidays and other events may change this schedule. Events at the Balaton and Cottonwood Libraries end by noon. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 6-11) are invited to participate.
