A new report says domestic violence homicides in Minnesota are at a five-year high.  According to Violence Free Minnesota, at least 30 residents died from intimate partner violence in 2020.  The statewide coalition, which compiled data from public records, also found that at least 20 underage children were left without a parent due to this violence.  Experts say quarantines and economic instability from the COVID-19 pandemic were factors in the increase.
