Marshall (KMHL)- The city of Marshall will be testing the weather warning system on Thursday, May 19th at approximately 1:00 p.m.  Multiple tests may be conducted and should be completed by 1:15 p.m.  These tests are being conducted after sirens failed to sound during last weeks round of severe weather that moved throught the area.  Sirens are normally tested monthly on the first Wednesday of each month and had been functioning properly until officials attempted to sound the sirens during Thursday’s storms and the system did not respond as it was supposed to.
