RUSHMORE, MN – A Nobles County Sheriff's Deputy remains in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon in Dewald Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 4:34 p.m., a 2020 Chevy Equinox driven by 63-year-old Theresa Ann Bear of Sioux Falls was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 when it collided with a 2023 Dodge Durango squad vehicle near milepost 34. The squad vehicle was operated by 30-year-old Arnold Logan Waldner, a deputy with the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office. West Virginia Man Dies After Crash with Semi on I-90 in Nobles County

ADRIAN, MN – A West Virginia man is dead after a two-vehicle accident involving a semi on Friday in Nobles County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 10:55 Friday evening, a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup and a 2018 Peterbilt semi were both traveling westbound on I-90 when the vehicles collided.   The driver of the Dodge, 46-year-old Thomas Lostetter of Saint Marys, WV, died from injuries sustained in the accident. Three Injured in Four-Vehicle Crash on Highway 23 Near Willmar

WILLMAR -- Three people were injured in a crash that involved four vehicles in Kandiyohi County on Wednesday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.   At approximately 7:53 Wednesday morning, a 2008 Chevy Impala driven by 36-year-old Sumani Malimu of Willmar, was traveling westbound on highway 23. Iona Man Airlifted with Injuries After Truck Hits Tree in Murray County

IONA – An Iona man was injured after his vehicle struck a tree on Wednesday in Murray County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 1:47 Wednesday afternoon, a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was traveling southbound on Highway 267 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.  The driver of the Dodge, 56-year-old Jody Paugh of Iona, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.   Assistance was provided by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Murray County Ambulance, Iona Fire and First Responders, Slayton Fire Department, and North Memorial Air Care.  

Tree Removal Work to Temporarily Close Portions of N. 4th and N. 7th Streets Today

MARSHALL – The City Street Department will close portions of North 4th Street and North 7th Street on Thursday, April 10, for tree removal work. North 4th Street will be closed from Elm Street to Mason Street between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. North 7th Street will be closed from W. Marshall Street to Heritage Circle between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Access will be restricted during the closures, and no through traffic will be allowed. MARSHALL -- The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Red Flag Warning for parts of northwestern Iowa and southwestern Minnesota, in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM CDT today. The warning covers several counties in Iowa, including Lyon, Osceola, Dickinson, Sioux, O'Brien, Clay, Plymouth, Cherokee, Buena Vista, Woodbury, and Ida.
