IONA – An Iona man was injured after his vehicle struck a tree on Wednesday in Murray County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 1:47 Wednesday afternoon, a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup was traveling southbound on Highway 267 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver of the Dodge, 56-year-old Jody Paugh of Iona, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Assistance was provided by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Murray County Ambulance, Iona Fire and First Responders, Slayton Fire Department, and North Memorial Air Care.
