Teen Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 23

MARSHALL — A 16-year-old Marshall driver was taken to the hospital after a collision involving a tractor and a pickup Monday evening, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.  The crash occurred at 7:24 p.m. on westbound Highway 23 near milepost 72. A 2012 New Holland tractor and a 2018 Chevrolet Sierra were both traveling west when they collided on the wet roadway.  The tractor’s driver, a 16-year-old boy from Marshall, was transported to the Marshall ER with non-life-threatening injuries. Minneapolis Woman; Redwood Falls Man Injured in Rollover Crash in McLeod County

STEWART, MN — A Minneapolis woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a rollover crash early Sunday on Highway 212, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.  The crash happened at 4:36 a.m. at westbound Highway 212 and County Road 7 near Stewart in McLeod County. MARSHALL — A second-grade student was injured Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle while using the crosswalk at 4th Street and Saratoga Street, school officials said.  Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported the child for medical care. Major League Baseball will return to Dyersville, Iowa, in 2026 when the Minnesota Twins and Philadelphia Phillies play the third “MLB at Field of Dreams” game. Highway 19 Reopens in Marshall; Reconstruction Paused Until Spring

MARSHALL — A Monday night fire at 501 Village Drive displaced residents and claimed the life of a dog, but no people were injured, according to Marshall Fire Chief Quentin Brunsvold. NEW AVON TOWNSHIP, MN — A Saint Peter woman was injured late Monday in a one-vehicle rollover on State Highway 68 near Kenwood Avenue in Redwood County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.  The crash was reported at 11:04 p.m. A westbound 2002 Honda Civic left the roadway, rolled, and came to rest in the westbound ditch. SMSU Pep Band to Host Free Concert Tonight at SMSU Fine Arts Theatre

MARSHALL — The Southwest Minnesota State University Pep Band will present a free public concert tonight, Monday, Nov. 17, showcasing a selection of fan-favorite charts from its fall season. Unlike at sporting events, the performance will feature full arrangements without game-related interruptions. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre and is expected to run until 8:30 p.m. Admission is open to the public, and free parking will be available in the B Lot. The Fine Arts Theatre is located at 1501 State St., Marshall.
