HANLEY FALLS — A Willmar woman was injured after the box truck she was driving rolled partially into a ditch Tuesday evening in Yellow Medicine County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 2006 Freightliner box truck was traveling north on Highway 23 near 510th Street in Sandnes Township when it crashed around 6:35 p.m. Road conditions were snowy and icy at the time.
The driver, 22-year-old Alissa Lee Kellen, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Granite Falls hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Hanley Falls Fire Department, Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, and the Upper Sioux Police Department.
