The Undertaker. The Deadman. The American Badass. One of the biggest and baddest WWE Superstars of all time. Six-foot-10 and 309 pounds. And yet, even he gets scared sometimes.
In fact, he has a crippling fear of . . . CUCUMBERS. (???)
It goes all the way back to when he was in kindergarten or first grade. He came home from school one day and his mother had cut up a bunch of cucumbers and set them to marinate in vinegar.
Lil’ Taker ate them all, then proceeded to puke the entire contents of his stomach.
He says, quote, “From that moment on, the smell, for a long time even to see a cucumber I would get somewhat, I wouldn’t say nauseous but queasy.
“Smell a cucumber? Forget about it. My stomach is just like [nope] . . . it’s like my mouth starts watering.”
He adds, quote, “Heaven forbid I taste one. Let me get one in a bit of sushi or something like that [if] you want to see some drama . . .
“I am level-headed as I can be, [but] do not put cucumber in my sushi, especially when I make it very clear that I do not want cucumber in my sushi.”
The Undertaker retired from the ring in 2020.
