WORTHINGTON (KMHL) – A Worthington Police officer was injured while making a traffic stop yesterday on State Highway 60.

According to the State Patrol, the officer was conducting a routine traffic stop on a 2007 GMC Acadia when the 2014 Ford Explorer he was in was struck from behind by a 2017 Ram Crew cab pickup.

The accident took place between the roundabouts on Highway 60 in Worthington.

According to the patrol, all three vehicles were damaged in the crash – the officer and both other drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
