Peggy “Peg” Ann Turner was born October 31, 1952 in Tracy, Minnesota, to Morris “Bud” and Martha (Filter) Radke. She was baptized and confirmed at Lake Sarah Lutheran Church in Garvin. Peg attended school in Garvin and Walnut Grove before graduating from Tracy High School in 1970. On October 25, 1970, Peg married the love of her life, Lon Turner. The couple made their home in Garvin and were blessed with 2 children. Peg worked at Fairway Foods in Tracy and several other jobs before she managed the Dairy Queen in Tracy for many years. She then worked at the Colonial Manor in Balaton until its closure in 2019. Peg and Lon loved to spend their winters in Arizona, and summers at the lake, where they had an entire “lake family.” Peg enjoyed shooting pool, playing dice, Bingo, softball, and horseshoes. Above all, Peg loved spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren.

Peg is survived by her children: Tammy Peterson (Jay Roufs) of Slayton, and Chad (Angie) Turner of Garvin; grandchildren: Nick (Alyssa) Peterson, Jada (Leighton) Shaney, Jake (Jayden) Turner, and Josh Anderson; great-grandchildren: Dodger, Aiden, Ayla, Elliot, and Xviaha; siblings: Earl Radke, Floyd (Gail) Radke, Debbie (Brian) Buchert, Nancy (Terry) Carlson, Sandy (Randy) Radke, and Roy (Ronda) Radke; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lon, son-in-law David “Petey” Peterson, sister and brother-in-law Judy & Gene Brousseau, sister-in-law Barb Radke, nephew Shane Carlson, and several other relatives and friends.
