MARSHALL, Minn. — A Marshall woman was injured on Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 23 near Marshall.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at 7:59 Friday morning, a 2026 Chevy Equinox was traveling northbound on Highway 23 and a 2013 Dodge Journey was traveling southbound on Highway 23. The Equinox was attempting to turn onto County Road 33 when the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Chevy, 46-year-old Sara Ormberg of Marshall, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Avera Hospital in Marshall.
The driver of the Dodge, 22-year-old Cayden Caron of Cottonwood, was not injured.
Assistance was provided by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Marshall Fire Department, and Marshall North Ambulance.
