MARSHALL — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Lyon and Lincoln Counties from 11:00 a.m. until midnight tonight. Anywhere from four to seven inches of snowfall is expected. Travel could be difficult due to low visibility and snow-covered roads. Snow may rapidly accumulate during the afternoon, which could impact the evening commute. Visibility will be reduced to a half-mile or less at times. Travelers are reminded to keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. You can stay up-to-date on the latest road conditions by calling 511, or by downloading the 511MN app for your smart phone.
