GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — Western Fest rolls on today, Thursday, June 19, with Kids Night at the PRCA Rodeo and a packed schedule of activities leading into a weekend of community celebration. 

Tonight’s rodeo at Lee Mar Ranch starts at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 5:30. Kids get in for just $1 with a paid adult admission. Free pony rides run from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and Mutton Bustin’ kicks off at 6:15 p.m. (pre-registration required). Royalty and queen candidates will be introduced just before the rodeo begins. Later, live music by Mike Gill begins at 9 p.m. at the Legion. 

Western Fest continues Friday with First Responder Night at the rodeo, a food stand, and street dance at Sorlien Park. Saturday wraps up the festival with a 5K run, brunch, grand parade, Miss Western Fest Pageant, Veterans Night rodeo, and a late-night raffle and street dance featuring Dakota Blue. 

Free shuttles are available for all rodeo nights.
