CANBY – Two people were injured after a collision on Saturday in Marble Township of Lincoln County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 3:36 Saturday afternoon, a 2015 Ford F350 was traveling southbound on Highway 75 and a 1995 Nissan truck was traveling westbound on County Road 20 when they collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Nissan, 54-year-old William Jay Briggs of Canby, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Canby hospital. The report notes Briggs wasn’t wearing his seat belt.
A passenger in the Ford, 46-year-old Molly Jo Verhelst of Canby, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the Canby hospital.
The driver of the Ford, 48-year-old Bryan Daniel Verhelst, and another passenger, a 15-year-old girl from Canby, were not injured.
