REDWOOD FALLS – Two people were injured after their vehicles collided in Redwood Falls on Tuesday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 2:05 Tuesday afternoon, a 2023 Chevy Traverse was traveling northbound on Highway 71 and a 2016 Subaru Outback was traveling southbound on Highway 71. The Subaru attempted to turn onto Highway 19 when the vehicles collided.
The driver of the Chevy, 33-year-old Rachel Catherine Johnson of Willmar, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the CentraCare Hospital.
The driver of the Subaru, 31-year-old Valery Nataline Simning of Redwood Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the CentraCare Hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Morton Fire Department, and Redwood Falls Ambulance.
