TRACY — The town of Tracy, Minnesota, is set to host its 97th annual Box Car Days from August 30th to September 2nd, 2024, organized by the Tracy Area Chamber of Commerce. Friday, August 30th kicks off the festivities with the Tracy Area Chamber Burger Night at 5 p.m. followed by a Beer Pong Tournament and entertainment by Kayla Daniels under the beer tent.

Saturday, August 31st begins with “Kegs & Eggs” and includes events such as a Softball Tournament, Texas Hold’em, a Farmers Market, and a Kiddie Parade. Evening highlights include the Bean Bag Tournament, the Tween Pizza, Puzzle & Guzzle, and Karaoke by Daren Jacob. The night wraps up with a Street Dance featuring “Shirts & Skins” from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with no cover charge.

The weekend also offers all-day entertainment with a Bingo Stand, Tracy Area Chamber Beer Tent, Lions Food Stand, Sweet Kettle Madness, and more.

Sunday, September 1st features Dad’s Belgian Waffles, Mud Volleyball, and the Kiddos Pizza, Puzzle & Guzzle, along with a Human Foosball Tournament and a day dedicated to kids’ activities in the park. The evening culminates with the Miss Tracy Scholarship Program at 6:30 p.m.

The celebration concludes on Monday, September 2nd, with a Fly-In/Drive-In Breakfast at the Tracy Airport, a 5K Run/Walk, and the highly anticipated Grand Parade at 1 p.m. St. Mary’s Arts & Crafts Fair and St. Mary’s Food Stand are also scheduled throughout the day.
