MINNEOTA – A Taunton woman was injured in a rollover accident on Highway 68 near Minneota on Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 1:48 Sunday morning, a 2000 GMC Yukon was traveling eastbound on Highway 68 near Minneota when it lost control and rolled.
The driver of the GMC, 19-year-old McKaylin Rae Day of Taunton, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Avera Marshall. The report notes Day was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
Assistance was provided by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Minneota Fire and Rescue.
