REDWOOD FALLS, MN — The Redwood County Fair is scheduled for July 18-21, promising a variety of entertainment and activities for attendees of all ages.
On Thursday, July 18, the fair kicks off at 5 p.m. with the opening of the Ralph Kolp Exhibit Hall and the Midway. The Midway Wristband Night runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., and at 6:30 p.m., the Great Frontier Bull Riding Company will perform in the grandstands. The evening culminates with a main stage performance by Craig Campbell, joined by special guest Jared Blake, at 8 p.m.
Friday, July 19, is Daycare Day, featuring 4H projects and demonstrations throughout the day. Attendees can look forward to guest appearances by Smiley the Clown, Big Bird, and characters from Paw Patrol. Activities begin at 9:30 a.m. with check-in, followed by the opening of the Ralph Kolp Exhibit Hall, Fisherman Dan’s Off the Hook Comedy Show, and Dock Dogs onsite registration and practice at 10 a.m. Glass blowing demonstrations are scheduled for 10:45 a.m. and 1 p.m., with live music by Johnny Lloyd at noon. Kids Day offers $1 rides on the Midway from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Great Frontier Bull Riding event returns at 6 p.m., and the day concludes with a performance by Collin Raye and special guest Trailer Choir at 8 p.m.
Saturday, July 20, starts with Dock Dogs onsite registration and practice at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Try Dock Dogs session from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The REV 320 Vendor Shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Highlights include a baking contest and 4-H Ribbon Auction at 10 a.m., multiple Dock Dogs competitions throughout the day, and a meet and greet with Paw Patrol at 1 p.m. The Demo Derby takes place at 5 p.m. in the grandstands. Evening entertainment features Pop 2000s, with performances by Chris Kirkpatrick of Nsync, Otown, Ryan Cabrera, and LFO, and opener Hicktown Mofia, starting at 8 p.m.
The fair concludes on Sunday, July 21, with Dock Dogs onsite registration and practice at 10 a.m., followed by the Speed Retrieve Wave #2 at 11 a.m. The Wendinger Band performs from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., and the Pedal Pull begins at 1:30 p.m. The Dock Dogs Big Air Finals are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., and the Midway will close at 6 p.m.
