The American Red Cross is holding three blood drives across the region today.
Donors in Marshall can give from noon to 6 p.m. at the MERIT Center, 1001 Erie Rd., where appointments remain for both whole blood and Power Red donations.
In Redwood Falls, a drive will be held from noon to 6 p.m. at the Community Center, 901 Cook St., while another runs in Westbrook from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Community Center, 849 5th St.
Whole blood donations are the most common, while Power Red donations collect concentrated red cells and return plasma and platelets to the donor. Power Red donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A negative, B negative, or O blood.
