The Marshall Police Department reports the following incidents:
On Friday at 1:14 in the morning, a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of East College Drive and O’Connell Street. An adult male was arrested for 3rd degree DWI and having an open bottle of alcohol.
On Friday at 3:17 in the afternoon, property damage was reported near the intersection of North Highway 23 and East College Drive. According to MPD, A 1997 Ford F-150 rear-ended a 2013 Ford Edge. No injuries were reported. Minor damage was caused.
On Friday at 7:49 in the evening, MPD responded to property damage at the 800 block of Country Club Drive. According to MPD, a 2022 Dodge Ram pickup pulling a trailer struck a parked 2012 Jeep Patriot. No injuries were reported. Minor damage was caused.
On Friday at 10:54 in the evening, a vehicle collision with injuries was reported near the intersection of South 4th Street and West Saratoga Street. According to MPD, a 2018 Cadillac Escalade collided with a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The driver of the Mitsubishi, an adult female, was transported to the hospital with suspected injuries. No other injuries were reported.
On Saturday at 8:07 in the evening, theft of car keys was reported at the 1300 block of Birch Street. The matter is under investigation.
On Saturday at 8:09 in the evening, theft of vehicle registration tabs from a license plate was reported at the 1300 block of East College Drive. The matter is under investigation.
On Saturday at 8:10 in the evening, a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of East Lyon Street and Jewett Street. According to MPD, an adult female was cited for driving after revocation. A report was also sent to the county attorney for consideration of charges for tax evasion on two adult males for having stolen registration tabs.
