Henryville Township (KMHL) – A man was killed in Renville County on Tuesday after being struck by a large tree branch near Olivia. The Renville County Sheriff’s Department says the man was cutting down trees in a grove in Henryville Township southwest of Olivia when a large branch connected to another tree broke off and hit the man. Emergency crews were called at 10:43 in the morning and arrived to find the man on the ground near several downed trees. The man was wearing head, eye and ear protection. Emergency responders administered life saving measures, but the man died of his injuries.
