The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports the following incidents:
On Friday at 5:20 p.m., a warrant pick up was issued in the 200 block of South Central Avenue in Balaton. A man was arrested on a local warrant as well as a 5th degree-controlled substance charge.
On Saturday at 12:49 p.m., theft was reported in the 100 block of Redwood Court in Lynd. After investigating, a report was sent to the county attorney for consideration of theft charges against a 20-year-old man.
On Sunday at 11:13 p.m., a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of East College Drive and West Lyon Street. After investigating, a 28-year-old Marshall man was cited for a stop sign violation and arrested on a Lyon County warrant.
The Marshall Police Department reports the following incidents:
On Monday at 6:23 a.m., a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of east Main Street and North 1st Street. After investigating, a 40-year-old Marshall man was arrested for driving after revocation and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
On Monday at 5:31 p.m., the Marshall Police Department responded to a situation in the 300 block of South Bruce Street. After investigating, a 45-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process. Charges were sent to the city attorney for review.
On Tuesday at 12:49 a.m., a traffic stop was performed near the intersection of East College Drive and South Minnesota Street. After investigating, a 46-year-old Washington woman was arrested for DWI.
