Hy-Vee Recalls Pot Roast Meals Over Presence of Wheat Allergen

West Des Moines, IA —  Iowa-based Hy-Vee is voluntarily recalling two varieties of its Hy-Vee Mealtime Beef Pot Roast Dinners due to the presence of an undeclared wheat allergen.  There haven’t been any confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.   Hy-Vee says the gravy mix in the meals contained a wheat allergen that was not listed on the ingredients label.  Customers can return the products for a refund.  Hy-Vee has 41 stores in Minnesota. 

The meals come in either a small or medium plastic container with a clear lid and were available to purchase between December 27, 2022, and January 17, 2023.
