MARSHALL – The Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee is touring southwest and central Minnesota today to listen to proposals for potential inclusion in the 2024 Capital Investment Bill. Representatives started their tour this morning in Wheaton, followed by a visit to the Appleton Opera House. The Committee will be visiting Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall today around noon. There will be presentations about a new library in Clara City, repurpose of the MACCRAY West Elementary School in Maynard, and Phase 2 Utilities in Russell.
The Tour will then depart Marshall and head to the Murray County 4H Building in Slayton, followed by a stop in Worthington, Lewisville, and finally Mankato.
