In a statement from the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology issued at 9:00 PM on Tuesday, said “we have received guidance” that all licensed practitioners should be idled immediately. Shutdown of the industry will last until at least March 27th. This directive also pertains to all cosmetology schools in the state. These businesses closures are in addition to the closure of seating spaces at bars, restaurants and other gathering places that took place on Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 PM.
